Phaseolus vulgaris

Extra long, stringless French pole beans. Can grow to be over 27 cm (11) or be harvested early for small, extra tender filet beans. They have won longest bean at the Saanich Fair more than once! Plants are tall, climbing vines that require support of a sturdy trellis and are a beautiful addition to your farm or garden. Direct seed 5cm deep, 10cm apart, in rows 45cm apart, when soil is warm. 8-16 days to germination, 70 days to maturity.
