This came to us as one of several crosses made in the 1950’s/1960’s and resembles what quite possibly became x Rhaphiolepis ‘Majestic Beauty’. Handsome, bronze-tipped new growth, glossy 6″ long leaves, and abundant warm pink fragrant flowers. Very nice as a medium shrub, but easily trained into a small standard tree up to 10-12 ft. Plant in bright light to part shade with occasional summer water. Prefers good air circulation. An easy plant. Hardy to USDA zone 8b.
