Gardener’s Notes:In early spring, sow seeds indoors. Space seeds 1 inch apart in a container of seed starting mix and barely cover. Provide a strong light source. Keep container moist, but not soggy as seedlings emerge slowly over 14-28 days. When baby plants have several sets of leaves, transplant into 4 inch pots. When plants are 2-3 inches tall, acclimate to outdoor conditions and transplant 12-18 inches apart in a well-drained sunny spot.
