Classic, high yielding bush bean with juicy, 5 1/2 inch round pods. Disease-resistant Provider is more tolerant of cold weather than other beans. This garden favorite is delicious fresh and ideal for canning and freezing.

Gardener’s Notes: Beans need warm weather to grow. Plant in late spring after night temperatures reach 55F (13C). Sow seeds 3 inches apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Sow every 2-3 weeks until early summer for continuous supply. Keep soil evenly moist. Harvest when pods are about 5-5.5 inches long and before seeds inside begin to swell. Pick every other day to keep plants producing more pods.
