Apium Graveolens Variety Secalinum

This European heirloom is a profuse grower. The leaves are large and bright green, forming good size bushes in one season. This leaf celery is perennial on the coast. The flavour is very strong and is used extensively in cooking, added to pasta sauce , stew and soup. Baby leaves are a good salad addition, the stems are very strong, use sparingly. Start indoors in early spring.
