An excellent choice for late season fresh eating and storage, Ruby Perfections dense purple globes are crunchy and sweet. Plants have a large frame which protects the heads until you are ready to harvest. 1.5-1.8kg (3.5-4lb) heads. Start the season with Ruby Ball Improved and switch to Ruby Perfection for your last planting in early summer, or plant together for a continuous harvest.

Sow indoors beginning inlate winter and transplant outdoors from 2 weeks after the last frost date to early summer. Overwintering cabbage is sown outdoors during July where winters are mild. Optimal soil temperature: 10-30C (50-85F). Seeds should germinate in 7-10 days.
When learning how to grow cabbage, sow 3 or 4 seeds per pot, 5mm () deep, under very bright light. Thin to the strongest plant. Space transplants 45-60cm (18-24) apart in rows 60-90cm (24-36) apart.
