Uniquely ribbed, round fruit ripens to dark tan with a frosted overlay. Fruit is similar in taste to a butternut squash, with superior quality, rich flavour and a shelf life of up to 4 months after maturity, allowing for a supply of high-quality fruit throughout the winter season. Fruit can be prepared like a winter squash; cut lengthwise or cut the top 5 cm off, scoop seeds out and roast; perfect for stuffing. Best grown in-ground.
