Gorgeous, 2-3″ fully double flowers in a striking shade of reddish-purple, from autumn into winter on this small, evergreen camellia, to only 4-6ft tall and wide. A slow-growing, compact shrub with the usual dark green and shiny leaves, very handsome and easy to place in the garden. Best in light shade and moist, well-drained soil. Frost hardy to -10F, USDA zone 6.
