Pimpinella Saxifraga

This long-lived perennial is a member of the parsley family and can be used in the same fashion. Good drought tolerance and thrives in all soil conditions. Fresh spring leaves are the most delicious and tender. Starts to flower in June right into summer. The stems are 3 to 4 feet tall topped with bright white lacy flowers that are 3 to 4 inches across. Beneficial insects love this plant. It can equally be at home in the perennial border. Very easy to grow from seed, direct plant in spring.
