Growing Instructions:

Corn prefers fertile soil and regular moisture. Make first sowings after last frost date when soil is completely warm, at least 18C (65F). Avoid sowing in cold soil, as seeds may not germinate and could succumb to rot and pests. Sow seed 3cm (1in) deep and 18cm (7in) apart in rows spaced 61cm (24in) apart. For best pollination, which is needed for well-filled ears, plant in blocks of at least 4 rows. Keep young plants well weeded. Sweet corn plants require isolation from other corn types, including other sweetcorn types, popcorn, ornamental corn, and silage corn.
