Solanum lycopersicum

A consistent and flavourful heirloom, laden with clusters of 6-12 1 inch crack-resistant fruits. Our favourite red cherry. Lots of seeds and juice. Always a prolific producer.

Start indoors in a warm location 8-10 weeks before setting out. Sow seeds in flats or pots or prepared mix, 1/4 inch deep and 2 inches apart. Keep soil moist but not soggy and provide a strong light source as soon as feelings appear. Transplant when seedlings have 2-3 sets of true leaves into individual pots or deep flats. Acclimate seedlings gradually to outdoor conditions when summery weather prevails, then set out 2-3 feet apart in rich, well-drained soil.
